Re: #KeepJulienBlancOutofCanada Campaign
As our listeners to WhatSheSaid! Radio on SiriusXM-Canada Talks-167 and followers on https://www.facebook.com/WhatSheSaid167 & https://twitter.com/WhatSheSaid167 are aware last weekend we launched the #KeepJulienBlancOutofCanada Campaign to raise awareness of RealSocialDynamics and its coaches sinister teaching tactics aimed at psychologically and emotionally manipulating women for sexual purposes.
Our Breaking Story and petition launch https://www.change.org/p/minister-christopher-alexander-keep-julien-blanc-out-of-canada was picked up online and by mainstream media in Canada and around the world and for that WhatSheSaid is truly grateful.
A second campaign quickly followed using our Hashtag. We reached out to Change.org and the creator of the second petition to merge in order to stop the confusion and dual signatures.
“It is possible to link (merge) the petitions, which means they would combine the signature count and both would show the total (anyone who has signed both petitions would only be counted once). I think it would make sense in this case because people are confusing the two, and it would be nice to have a single (highest possible) signature count. But in order to do that, we first need the OK from both of you.” …Change.org
The creator of the second petition has not responded.
Maria Del Mar has thankfully worked tirelessly on her campaign and has achieved much greater success, however such petitions require more than 100,000 signatures to attain legal standing. To help reach that goal WhatSheSaid will take its petition down Sunday night and pass its signatories to https://www.change.org/p/the-honourable-chris-alexander-p-c-m-p-minister-of-citizenship-and-immigration-canada-keep-julien-blanc-and-real-social-dynamics-rsd-out-of-canada in order both may be counted as one. We trust she will accept our 12,000 signatures so they are not wasted.
The WhatSheSaid! mandate is to interview, inform and inspire Canadian women.
We feel that goal has been reached as awareness of this Pick Up Artist group has truly been raised in Canada and RSD has pulled dates from its calendar (although live dates have been switched to webinars). The Immigration Minister Chris Alexander responded to our Hashtag saying:-
“We are looking at all options and will consider using every tool at our disposal to protect the rule of law on Canadian soil.”
“There is no ego involved in this effort to protect women of our daughters’ age and we will continue to keep a watchful eye. WhatSheSaid has other stories to tell, good and bad, and we hope you will listen and follow.”
