Amanda Parris Hosts an Insider’s Study of Modern Blackness in For the Culture.

in Entertainment, What She Said on 01/26/24

CBC stalwart Amanda Parris travelled and listened to collect intel on the ways Blackness has changed as a lived concept. Larry Wilmore, Bolu Babalola, Gina Yashere, and Mwazulu Diyabanza join Parris in provocative discussions of topics including reparations for slavery, the crisis in Black maternal care, the meaning of Black hair, and what Parris calls “the diaspora wars”. As producer and host, Parris puts her unique thumbprint on these important conversations.

For the Culture Premieres Jan. 30 on CBC and CBC Gem
