Gia is celebrating her 21st birthday at a club; she doesn’t feel quite up to being an adult yet, though. So, she stacks away her earlier selves, the baby, the ten-year-old and the sixteen-year-old under her trench coat and goes for it. She has a license to prove she’s twenty-one but that doesn’t stop her and her “selves” from blubbering like babies in the ladies’ room or blurting out the wrong things. It’s tough and in animator Aphton Corbin’s semi-autobiographical Pixar short Twenty-Something it’s also hilarious! Mixing philosophy, baby talk, fronting and being her true self, Corbin’s created a wee bit of animated magic, on Disney+ SparkShorts right now. What She Said’ Anne Brodie chatted with a very animated Corbin.
